Premier Santa Gertrudis Association

 

 

The Premier Santa Gertrudis Association held their annual meeting on Sunday, January 17, 2010 in conjunction with

the National Open Show at the Fort Worth Stock Show. 

During the meeting, the membership elected a new board of directors. 

The 2010 -2011 Premier Board of Directors are shown below. 

Following the meeting, the new board met to elect the officers.

Hello all and welcome from your board of directors to a new year with the Premier Santa Gertrudis Assoc. Your newly installed board wishes each and every one of you a prosperous, safe and healthy new year. There were 8 board members elected this year and the entire list of board members has been posted on the website. It was my honor to be elected to the office of president. I, along with the entire board, look for many exciting things to happen during the course of the coming year. We have moved the Premier sale to May, in Athens, we will be having a junior show, a field day, and several other activities throughout the year. I feel confident that the board of directors, that you have elected, is eager and willing to go the extra mile to make this year not only fun, but successful. Your board earnestly desires your input and solicits your involvement in all aspects of our associations endeavors. With everyone working together, we cannot help but to have a successful year. I would like to speak to the subject of working together. There is a truism, which I firmly believe and that is that no organization can truly succeed without the efforts of the entire membership. We can be profitable in one area or the other, but we can never truly succeed. I know we have people who have been members for decades and also we have people who have just joined. The point is, we need each and every member, young, old, and in between to be involved. There are literally scads of things to be done, some big, some small, some out front, and some hidden. There are many different things to be done from working gates, to serving tea, cooking hamburgers, making phone calls, the list goes on. The thing is each and every one of these things is important. Everyone can do something and I truly believe we have the membership to make it happen. I am excited about the upcoming year.
